Ed is 43 years old, has been married to his wife Dawn for 20 years and
has a son Brandon who is 18. Ed started racing quarter midget's at age 13. He bought his first racecar in 1980 at age
15. Of course he told his mom it was a friends car. At age 16 he started racing hobby stock class(known today as the street
stock class) with no sponsors. Learning how to build engines at age 16 was very costly and frustrating, but he learned alot
in those days. In 1993 he picked up 2 sponsors. OPEN FLOW GAS and TASTA PIZZA. Then in 1994 he picked up a 3rd sponsor. HOOVER
CHIROPRACTIC. Randy Hoover (owner, Hoover Chiropratic) sponsored Ed until 2007. And TASTA PIZZA until they closed. In
1995 Ed won his 1st win of many to come in the Hobby/Street Stock division. In 1996 Ed bought his 1st Super Stock/Limited
Late. After only 5 weeks Ed won his 1st Super Stock/Limited Late race. Ed had a hard year in 1997 learning how to drive this
new type of car. But in 1998 he was back, with many wins since then. To date Ed has won 36 Career feature wins. Ed couldn't
have done it without the support of Bill Shick (Tasta Pizza), Randy Hoover(Hoover Chiropratic) and both Ed and Dawn's families.

A race shop for all your racing needs. The shop is located in Sabula, just off
route 255. Ed also works as a truck/trailer mechanic for Penn Traffic in DuBois.
Brandon, Ed's son started racing go karts at age 9. He raced enduro's in 2004.
He now races the street stock class at Hummingbird, Central Pa and Thunder Mountain.
Ed's Father Al Connor and his Uncle John Connor raced back in the 60's. Ed has
4 brother's who are all into racing somehow or another. Donnie drive's the 01 Limited Late at Hummingbird.
Bob drive's the 7c modified at numerous area tracks.
Buzz and Fred his other two brother's
have both helped throughout the year's.
